![]() if you installed the wrong level software into the ecm and you have access to davies to reprogram stock you should be able to recover the ecm. The ECM part number can be found on the decal on the back of your ECM. we then were able to reconnect to the ecm with jpro and kess so we pulled the tune and deleted it with the rel08 software. ECM Identification Find the ECM part number on your ECM and use this guide to determine your ECM model. we have the truck towed back to the dealer and they were able to reconnect with davies and reflash the ecm once again to stock. the customer drives straight back to me and we reinstall the delete tune and the ecm dies without any connection by jpro or kess (didn't know about the ecm having the rel08 update and made a bad assumption that we could redelete with rel07 tune). well after the dealer used davies to change the settings, road speed was up and all bells and whistles were going off because of davies updating ecm to stock rel08. the customer left and for some reason decides to go the dealer to turn up road speed. One of my first experiences with paccar was deleting a engine with Rel07 software. Any other ideas?
